Reiki is becoming increasingly well known in the West for the array of outcomes it can facilitate. Reiki supports the body’s inherent wisdom, vitality and healing capability.
A Reiki treatment is usually one hour in duration. Treatments can occur in your home or at the studio. It begins with the practitioner arriving five minutes early to set up the massage table, prepare the space and check in with the client regarding their needs.
The treatment is non-invasive and the client remains clothed at all times. For this reason, comfortable clothing is recommended. At no time are private parts of the body touched by the practitioner. The practitioner will place hands gently on or just off the body in a number of key positions to facilitate the flow of Reiki spiritual energy. In most cases, the treatment will start with the head and finish at the feet.
During the Reiki treatment, the client will only take on the amount of energy they require. The practitioner works as a conduit, facilitating the flow of energy to the client.
We advise booking a minimum of three treatments for a specific issue or health problem. For new Reiki clients we recommend booking an initial treatment only. That way you can see if the modality and practitioner suits you and your needs. Follow-up bookings can be made with the practitioner.
Each person’s health and situation is unique to them and no two treatments will ever be exactly the same. Mobile Reiki Therapy will individually tailor each treatment to the needs and condition of the client. Most people experience a sense of wellbeing during and after a Reiki treatment. Reiki balances the mind, body and spirit.

Distance Healing Treatments
The essence of universal energy is non-dual, which means that everything is interconnected; there is no separation. It is only our limited understanding that leads us to see things as separate. As such, it’s possible to send distance healing to clients by setting the appropriate intention. Conceptually, this can be likened to terms we use frequently in everyday speech such as ‘thinking of you’, ‘best wishes’ and ‘sending you love’.
A Reiki practitioner is taught symbols and mantras that support their connection to this non-dual space. Through daily practice and meditation, a practitioner develops skills in accessing this space both experientially and conceptually. A non-dual space is a place where distance, time and separateness do not exist.
